Another album of the “acoustic formation” of the duo Kratochvíl - Ackerman. In recent years, it has grown into a trio with Imran Musa Zangi and today even into a quartet, with Imran’s son Filip sitting behind the second percussion. On the LP / CD “Letopis” (Chronicle), this quartet was also strengthened in several compositions by the bass guitar of Přemysl Faukner from Jazz Q.

It is far from just the purist sound of acoustic piano with wooden guitar, although this sound is also present on Letopis. While Kratochvíl does not use his full register of synthesizers, he does reach for more than one kind of electric piano on the album, and the resulting shape is complemented by multiple overdubs.

On the album we hear not only the beautiful harmonies of jazz ballads, but also strongly rhythmic compositions enhanced by the dual percussions of father and son Zangi.
