The album “Mira” (SACD Hybrid) by Mira Kubasińska & Breakout in a limited edition, in the series “Polskie Nagrania Catalogue Selections”. This is the first edition of this album in the SACD (Super Audio Compact Disc) format. The choice of this format is a nod to audiophiles.

“Mira” was the first signature album by Breakout band singer Mira Kubasińska, released in the same year 1971 as the hit album “Blues”. It containes music close to Mira Kubasińska’s interests, combining elements of blues, rock and folk known to fans of the Breakout group from their previous albums. Bogdan Loebl was the author of most of the lyrics, while Tadeusz Nalepa was responsible for the musical side.

Mira Kubasińska was accompanied by the band composed of Tadeusz Nalepa (guitars), Jerzy Goleniewski (bass guitar), Tadeusz Trzciński (harmonica), Jan Mazurek (drums). Włodzimierz Nahorny (saxophone) also took part in the recordings.

“Mira” is a kind of supplement to the first two records of Breakout, and a testimony to what an important part of the band this unique female voice was at the time.
