Warner Music Poland Release Information



Wojciech Karolak’s sensational album “Easy!”. This legendary recording was made in January 1974 with a whole host of Polish jazz stars. The big band, led by Jan “Ptaszyn” Wróblewski, included Zbigniew Namysłowski, Janusz Muniak, Tomasz Szukalski, Tomasz Stańko, Czesław Bartkowski and Novi Singers as backing vocals! As Wojciech Karolak wrote in a short comment on the cover of the original vinyl release:

“My intention was to produce an album containing light music recorded by jazz musicians. Made in a relaxed manner and intended for relaxed listening, it can go in one ear and out the other. And if, in the process, it gives the listener a little pleasure, then its function can be considered fulfilled.”

It has been fulfilled with a bonus, because “Easy!” has not only proven itself as light, easy and pleasant music. It is a swinging sky for those who seek positive energy, interesting melodies and sophisticated arrangements in jazz. “Easy!” is a pearl in the Polish discography, also appreciated worldwide.
