Helena Vondráčková celebrates fifty years on stage by choosing the best of the best!

In 1964 she released her debut “Červená řeka” (Red River), only to have all the following decades turn into a never-ending series of successful songs. Although mostly in the main stream, yet stylistically extremely varied, sonically colourful and highly professional. From songs written directly for her to big movie and musical themes or peculiar cover versions to an effectively danceable sound, always completely unmistakable.

More than forty tracks, framed by the aforementioned oldest country song and a brand new song written especially for her by young Italian composers. Everything you would like to hear and welcome even more, as the 2CD footage allows you to complete the hit profile to its fullest. For the first time ever, it has been possible to compile a compilation of recordings from all the labels where Ms Helena has shone or is shining: from Supraphon to No and No or Universal to the current Parlophone / Warner Music.

The booklet, written by Jan Adam, contains the singer’s artistic biography. In addition to a lot of interesting facts, you will also find photographs illustrating the gradual transformation of Helena Vondráčková from a young high school graduate to an always very elegant lady. Which, of course, also applies to her long-standing luxurious repertoire, full of distinctive songs filled with hit ambitions.
