A duo of extraordinary musical personalities, consisting of guitarist Rudolf Dašek and multi-instrumentalist Jiří Stivín, shone on jazz stages in the first half of the 1970s. The duo enchanted audiences not only in this country, but especially abroad, where they released two albums.

The culmination of their collaboration was the album “Koncert v Lublani” (Concert in Ljubljana) from 1976. At the end of the 1980s, the two musicians returned to playing together and recorded the studio album System Tandem Reunion. The album Tandem Live 1989 brings a concert recording from July 1989. It contains proven tracks and shows the duo in full force in front of a packed Smetana Hall of the Obecní dům (Municipal House).
