Guerilla Records Release Information



This recording is a departure from the recordings that have already been released several times, as it is the first publication of the programme “Jak bude po smrti” (How Will It Be after Death), a tribute to Ladislav Klím. At the time of its creation, this recording did not pass the approval of the band members, they found it too “dry” and unbalanced in sound.

However, 21st century technology helped us to run the recording thoroughly through the machines of the Jámor studio and with the consent of all players we are publishing it. They were themselves surprised of how good it sounds and, with hindsight, are more satisfied with it than with the concerto that was originally released (we are also preparing a newly treated edition of the full version, including Jirous’ introduction and the Brabenec brass, in a future “live” edition).

Otherwise, of course, the same applies as has been said about the other items in this edition. In this case the title picture is by Petr Švestka and the booklet contains photographs by Jaroslav Kukal. The editions are equipped with English translations.
