This fresh 12-track album by the notorious punk brigade Hétköznapi Csalódások (Everyday Disappointments) from Pécs, 33 years old in 2023, is a tribute to the best traditions of the band, with a strong and well-proportioned sound, and highlights the band’s earlier eras.

“Now we are back to the tighter, more melodic punk. But I have to add, there are straight up metal influenced songs, and there is ska, and crushing and melodic punk, and even a rockabilly song... There are some really good riffs and rhythms on the material, which was not so much the case on the older stuff, because there was more sika-mika guitar.

Bottom line: Don’t expect radical innovations, this stuff absolutely fits the bill. The title of the album, “Rohanunk a forradalomba” (Rushing to the Revolution), is the title of a poem by Ady! It is important to note that this was not intended to be some kind of continuation of the Attila József album, so it is not a poem arrangement, but there is only a title. There were several variations on the title, and for a long time “Autokrata ballada” (Autocratic Ballad) was a possibility... Then we thought of continuing the “Avagy sorozatot” (Or Series), but in the end we simplified it...”

The studio work on the album was done by Rezső Bodó (Pokoltornádó). Guest artists: Péter Matus, Andrea Elek, and Gábor “Süsü” Schmidt.
