H Music Band Information

Mobilmánia was formed in 2008 by members of the legendary hard rock group P. Mobil. The band’s goal was to keep the legacy of the original band (formed in 1969) alive, and to perform it’s songs live with the original vocalists and other band members, since it had so many line-up changes during the decades.

They also started to write new songs, so that they are not merely a tribute to the mother-band.

Rock Diszkont Release Information

Gyula Vikidál and András Zeffer presented their anniversary concert to the audience with a two-part performance on 6 January 2018 in the Budapest Arena.

In the first part of the concert, the Liszt Ferenc Prize-winning singer and actor Gyula Vikidál and his guests performed a selection of rock operas and musicals from the artist’s more than 50-year career, made famous by his personality, and the repertoire of nationally renowned bands associated with his name.

In the second half of the evening, the most important bands of András Zeffer’s 40 years of work as a keyboardist, singer and composer took to the stage, with guests and original members. The musician overcame leukaemia in 2007 and has been creating with great vigour ever since, setting a positive example, which we were able to experience on this evening.

The concert continued with the then 10-year-old Fonogram award-winning Mobilmania, who gave a great concert of music from their albums released up to that point, with several guests and a large symphony orchestra. The programme also included a special tribute to their former singer Péter Tunyogi, who died in 2008. An excellent large orchestra, the Lajos Vass Symphony Orchestra, helped to make the songs of the concert even more beautiful.

The two remarkable oeuvres represent hundreds of well-known songs, from which it was difficult to choose, and the unrepeatable jubilee concert was planned to last more than three hours, with one intermission. A special spectacle awaited those who visited the Papp László Budapest Sport Arena on the day of the Epiphany, 6 January 2018.
